1) UP 4840, 9432, 4317, 4373, 4403
2) CN 5701, 8012, 2642
3) String of new CEFX hoppers from the plant at Paragould, Arkansas
4) String of CN boxcars including freshly painted CN414375

LEFT-Inspection
truck passing the Brinkley Depot Museum at 8:32 a.m. RIGHT-It was a
dark, cloudy morning looking east along the Brinkley Sub of the UP. It
warmed up to 70 degrees today.
LEFT-UP 4840, 10:29 a.m. heading a UPS and other containers intermodal. RIGHT-CN 5701, 10:59 a.m.
LEFT-UP 9432 leading 4 other units, 11:25 a.m. This mixed freight was very long. RIGHT-This
train had a long string of new CEFX hoppers, including 300265. They
were built at Paragould, Arkansas, a couple of hours north of Brinkley.
LEFT-I'm
looking to the north along the Jonesboro sub. RIGHT-That's US Highway
70 at the crossing gates. I didn't count the new hoppers, but there
were a bunch.
LEFT-At
12:15 p.m., a mixed train takes the siding just north of the depot
waiting for another Z train. I'm looking north. RIGHT-A work/inspection
vehicle getting on the rails on the Brinkley Sub looking east toward
West Memphis.
At 12:50 p.m., the stack train passes the train on the siding.
LEFT-UP 4517 at 12:51 p.m. RIGHT-At 1:00 p.m., the mixed train on the siding starts to move south.
LEFT-UP 4773 eases onto the main line at 1:01 p.m. RIGHT-CN 8012, 1:16 p.m.
LEFT-A
westbound train from Marion/West Memphis on the Brinkley Sub at 4:02
p.m. The sun broke through a little. This mixed had two UP and one
CN unit and many of its cars were CN. RIGHT-The first unit hits the sunlight at 4:04 p.m.
UP 4403 at 4:06 p.m. starting to go around the curve that connects with the Jonesboro Sub.
LEFT-It's 4:07 p.m. This very long train took 9 minutes to pass this location, moving about 10 mph on the curve. RIGHT-CN 2642.
LEFT-CN gondola. RIGHT-Blue and white SHPX 221215 tank car.
LEFT-String of CN boxcars at 4:10 p.m. RIGHT-Shiny, freshly painted CN boxcar CN414375.
LEFT-Long
string of tank cars, 4:12 p.m. RIGHT-End of the train finally, 4:16
p.m., nine minutes to pass the Highway 70 crossing.
