LEFT-Friday,
September 19, 2008, taken from the Main Street bridge in North Little
Rock looking west toward UP's Jenks Shops. Time was 10:15 a.m. with UP
8189 leading the mixed train. RIGHT-A wider view of the area.
LEFT-Looking
east from the Main Street bridge into UP's North Little Rock yards.
RIGHT-UP 4247 passes a moving train at 8:57 a.m. on Saturday, September
20 at Union Station.
RIGHT-The
Episcopal Collegiate School (6-12 grade) is just across the UP tracks
from Union Station. They were having a middle school football game on
this Saturday morning, September 20.
LEFT-They
are getting ready to dig utility trenches in the station area. Very
colorful warning stripes. RIGHT-Zoomed in to the football field.
UP
4742 with the football teams in the backgroudn at 9:13 a.m. This train
had stopped here waiting on a signal. One of the teams had just scored
a touchdown.
RIGHT-UP 4185, 9:28 a.m. with another intermodal.
LEFT-CSX 7314 at 9:32 a.m. RIGHT-CSX 664 with the lightning strokes. I like both color schemes.
LEFT-While
construction continues at the station. these baggage carts were put in
a fenced area. RIGHT-UP 2163 with a manifest at 10:32 a.m.
