I found this dead deer in my front yard in North Little Rock this morning, Tuesday May 22, 2012. There are deer that are seen in this neighborhood often since Five Mile Creek runs behind the houses here and they walk down the creek from Camp Robinson's wildlife area into this and other neighborhoods. This is the first time I've had a dead deer.

UPDATE, 9:30 a.m. - Animal Services just came and got the deer. It had been hit by a car and wandered to my yard to die. The officer said it was pregnant, about to give birth. I added photos of the Animal Services officer taking the deer away.

Under my rose bushes at 6:53 a.m. Looks like it was digging for something.

Gives you an idea of the neighborhood.

North Little Rock Animal Services came about 9:30 a.m. to get the deer.
