This
'prehistoric' large mushroom was on the empty field next to the George
R Brown Convention Center in downtown Houston. This was about 6-7
inches wide.
LEFT-A small rose. RIGHT-I entered Discovery Green from the southeast side.
Looking toward downtown. There are numerous art-globes around Discovery Green.
LEFT-You can see a butterfly in the middle of the picture on the purple flower.
RIGHT-Looking
east you can see the old Union Station to the right of the church
steeple. This station used to have tons of passenger trains of the
Missouri Pacific, Santa Fe, Rock Island, among others. Minute Maid
baseball park to the right of the station is home of the Houston
Astros.
LEFT-Looking out from the Discovery Green restaurant.
LEFT-Ole' Veggie Face
RIGHT-Butterfly in the center.
LEFT-Butterfly closeup. RIGHT-'Glowing Edges' effect on the butterfly, same shot as the left photo.
These two are the same photo as the right photo in the row above. The left one has a kaleidoscope effect and I applied the 'Glowing Edges' effect on the right one. RIGHT-Relocated trees sign.
