A
few scenes of Discovery Green park in downtown Houston, Texas, taken
Thursday, October 15, 2009. Included is a butterfly and general scenes.
This 'prehistoric' large mushroom was on the empty field next to the George R Brown Convention Center in downtown Houston.
This was about 6-7 inches wide.
A small rose.
I entered Discovery Green from the southeast side.
Looking toward downtown.
There are numerous art-globes around Discovery Green.
You can see a butterfly in the middle of the picture on the purple flower.
Looking
east you can see the old Union Station to the right of the church
steeple. This station used to have tons of passenger trains of the
Missouri Pacific, Santa Fe, Rock Island, among others. Minute Maid
baseball park to the right of the station is home of the Houston
Astros.
Looking out from the Discovery Green restaurant.
Ole' Veggie Face
Butterfly in the center.
'Glowing Edges' effect on the butterfly, same shot as the previous one.
Same photo as previous, kaleidoscope effect.
Glowing Edges on the photo.
Relocated trees.
