Sitting on the patio at twilight. We could hear thunder in the distance. The night to follow will produce storms and flooding rain, but now it was peaceful and quiet with the company of good friends.

On the way home, I had to stop driving since the rain was coming down so hard. So I parked under the  roof at a Shell station. As soon as I did, hail started to fall. I stayed here about 45 minutes then finally drove the 13 miles home.
