Monday, February 25, 2013 was a rainy and chilly day at Little Rock. I parked the car and caught a couple of trains at Union Station, plus a wet bird on the fence.

Included:
1) UP 4206, 4609
2) KCS 4612
3) BNSF 5782, 6043
4) Wet bird

The parking lot lights at Union Station turned on at 4:21 p.m. The sun doesn't set in Little Rock until 6:02 p.m. so normally at 4:21 it would be sunny. It was kinda spooky, with the dark clouds and lightning, but no severe weather. Temperatures were in the mid 40s. I can't wait for Spring and warmer weather, but no warmer weather is forecast for at least a week. Every night for the next seven nights will go below freezing, mostly in the 20s. This heavy rain hit during rush hour and there were numerous accidents, even on I-30 and I-40.

An Amtrak sign.

BNSF 6043 heading another empty crude oil train, 5:17 p.m.

BNSF 5782.

Poor, wet  little birdie.

KCS 4612, 5:28 p.m.

UP 4206, 4609 and KCS 4612.
