Once a year, the Arkansas Razorback cheerleaders, band and other people from the University of Arkansas in Fayetteville, AR come to the State Capitol in Little Rock to talk to legislators and have a 'Razorback Day' in the city. The school's mascot, Tusk, a large razorback, also made the trip this year, on Wednesday, February 16, 2011. Here are some photos.

The snout says it all....

He had his eye on me.

This is the trailer Tusk was transported in. This is behind Union Station and I was there to take pictures of trains, but saw that the Razorbacks were in town, so I skipped out on the trains for awhile to get these photos.
