are a few photos of Arakansas and Missouri Railroad locomotives
and facilities in Springdale, Arkansas October 6, 2008. Also, since
Wal-Mart's worldwide Corporate Headquarters are located in nearby
Bentonville, AR, I drove up there to look at the very first Wal-Mart
store (started by Sam Walton, May 9, 1950). The initial store, called Walton's 5-10, is now the Wal-Mart museum. (Ken Ziegenbein photos)

The
very first store in the Wal-Mart empire was called Walton's 5-10,
started by Sam Walton, May 9, 1950 at this location in Bentonville,
Arkanssa. It's now the Wal-Mart Museum, but contined to be a store
until the early 1980s.
