Amtrak's Texas Eagle Number 22 at Little Rock's Union Train Station on Wednesday night, March 26, 2014.


On my way home from Union Station at 1:30 z.m., I stopped and got this picture of downtown Little Rock from the North Little Rock side of the Arkansas River.


Reds, greens and yellow signals at 11:46 p.m. March 26 at the station. Amtrak is lined up northbound.


The Texas Eagle arriving at 11:48 p.m.


Locomotive 824 led the Eagle tonight.


11:48 p.m. You can see the Little Rock passengers lined up to board. The train was about 15 minutes late.


The train just stopped and they were just beginning to open the doors.




11:51 p.m.




Walking to their waiting sleeper or coach.




The All Aboard was announce, 11:55 p.m.


Train started leaving at 12:02 a.m. March 27. Truly a midnight train this time.


The last Superliner car passes and the station gets back to normal.
