12:37 a.m. and the line of passengers boarding for St Louis and Chicago reaches from the top of the platform to the door of the Amtrak waiting room.


Amtrak locomotive 169 heads the consist. A Union Pacific freight is passing on UP's Main 2 at 12:40 a.m.
