Amtrak Texas Eagle 22 northbound at Little Rock, Arkansas, 11:50 p.m. Monday night, November 10, 2014.

Eagle 22 arriving at 11:48 p.m. Monday night, November 10 with a line of waiting passengers headed north to St Louis and Chicago.

Amtrak locomotive 817 was the leader tonight. This is apparently one of the first P40's. This engine had a fuel pump failure south of St Louis, delaying it for a couple of hours. It left Little Rock 22 minutes late, left St Louis 2 hours, 39 minutes late.  (Thanks to the All Aboard Yahoo group and Gene Poon for this information)

Beginning to board the 7-Superliner train at 11:53 p.m.

A UP freight passes at 11:55 p.m.

Wide angle view of cars and train.

Good old Sightseer Lounge.

Leaving Little Rock at 12:01 a.m. November 11.
