After I left the station, I decided to try to photograph the last run of the night for the streetcars, so I turned around in North Little Rock and headed back to Little Rock over the Main Street Bridge crossing the Arkansas River. It's nearly midnight.

River Market entertainment district.

11:57 p.m. and this streetcar is headed back to the trolley barn. I'm on Main Street looking north. The streetcar is on Markham Street heading east.

Streetcar 408 on Markham Street, getting ready to turn left onto the Main Street bridge and go back to the barn in North Little Rock, just before midnight. No. 408 was the first streetcar brought here in 2004. There are 5 streetcars here now.A 10th anniversary celebration was held last fall. The system averages 100,000 riders a year and there has been millions of dollars in new development along the 3.5 mile line, such as restaurants and apartment complexes.

On Main Street in North Little Rock at midnight.

Moving north to the trolley barn.

View the streetcar through my rear view mirror.

Streetcar 409 followed 408.

The Argenta district in North Little Rock on Main Street. This is North Little Rock's entertainment district like the River Market in Little Rock is an entertainment district and the streetcars run between both.

Turning to get to the trolley barn in North Little Rock at 12:08 a.m.

Going to bed for the day.
