Amtrak's Texas Eagles Nos. 21 and 22 on two nights at Union Station in Little Rock, AR, August 14 and 15, 2012. I also caught some passing freights.


Waiting for Amtrak 22 from Fort Worth, carrying my friend Jerry for a visit, I saw this northbound NS freight pass the station at 12:47 a.m Tuesday, August 14.

I took Jerry back to Union Station to catch southbound Eagle 21 at 3 a.m. but we decided to go early and watch northbound Amtrak 22 come in as well. Another good crowd was waiting to board Eagle 22 at 11:47 a.m. Wednesday, August 15.

Waiting for the next train, southbound Amtrak Eagle 21, which was scheduled to arrive early at 3:00 a.m. Turns out #21 was early into Fort Worth as well, arriving there at 12:48 p.m. Thursday August 16, scheduled to arrive at 1:25 p.m. Jerry said he can't remember when this train got to Fort Worth that early.
