BNSF ran a special Officer's Special through Little Rock, AR on Friday, May 30, 2014. It originated in Houston as the PHOHXJ-30. It went to Hoxie, Arkansas from North Little Rock and then get on the BNSF's Thayer Sub in Hoxie. It passed Union Station in Little Rock at 2:21 p.m. Thanks for Bob McClanahan for the early morning heads up on this train.

The consist of this train: BNSF 5860, Passenger Cars BNSF 66-Cajon Pass, BNSF 50-Stampede Pass, BNSF 67 Trinchera Pass, BNSF 60-Stevens Pass, BNSF 8-John S. Reed  and BNSF 32-William B Strong, the last car, a theater car. 


Coming into view at 2:21 p.m.

BNSF 60-Stevens Pass.

About to cross the Baring Cross bridge over the Arkansas River into North Little Rock to UP's yard at 2:22 p.m.


I don't remember ever seeing a BNSF Officer's Special run over UP's Main line through here, but I can't say it never happened.
