LEFT-The day started out dark and cloudy, but it brightened up. The lights in the clouds are reflections of the museum's lights in the window. Sorta looks like flying saucers beaming up specimens of earthlings. RIGHT-UP 4978, 9:33 a.m. followed by unpatched SP 7325.


LEFT-10:50 a.m. showing a distant train approaching from West Memphis. This zoomed in image sure brings out the grade, doesn't it? The bird in this photo is real. RIGHT-UP 8330, 11:07 a.m. This was the train in the distance 17 minutes earlier.


Taken from the old Railway Express office in the depot museum, CSX 692 and BNSF 6022 at 12:03 p.m.


LEFT-UP 9527 heads a very long mixed train from West Memphis at 1:23 p.m. This train went on 'forever' and there were about 25 cars lined up at the US Highway 70 crossing to the right of the photos before the train finished passing. RIGHT-New Tate & Lyle tank car STSX 52102.


LEFT-My long-lost relative had his portrait painted on this car. (Normally I don't like to post graffiti, but this just hit a funny bone). RIGHT-This male Cardinal was posing for the camera on the fence railing. He was having a good time chasing a female Cardinal around the depot.


LEFT-Approaching train from the north at 3:58 p.m. RIGHT-UP 7622. Yep, just as I was going home, the sun broke through.
