UP had a relatively small derailment just west of the I-30 bridge in UP's yards in North Little Rock, AR,  on Friday, May 18, 2012 in the morning. I don't know details, but when I took these pictures, it appeared only a few cars were involved. It tied up UP's Main 1 and Main 2, though, and I got a shot of a stack train detouring on a track north of the derailment site. If anyone has any more details of what happened, email me.

These photos were taken from the Main Street Bridge, looking to the east into the sun. (Thanks for the heads up from John C. Jones and a UP employee)

As seen from the bridge. Main 1 is to the right of the intermodal, Main 2 the next track over. Time is 10:39 a.m.

Zoomed in from the Main Street bridge. The bridge over the derailment is Interstate 30.

Cropped from the previous pictures. You can see bent rail, but I have no idea exactly what happened.

Looking to the west across the highway bridge. Jenks Shops are center-distant.

Derailment from a different angle.

UP 8651 was the DPU on the stack train.
