UP 4141 (George Bush Library locomotive), UP 6938 (Centennial locomotive), UP 2002 (Olympics unit) and UP 1996 (Southern Pacific heritage unit) in North Little Rock, AR Tuesday, October 2, 2012. Included are some good night shots of 6938.

UP 4141, the George Bush library locomotive is back on display in front of UP'S Jenks Shops in North Little Rock, Arkansas for their 150th celebration. The celebration is set for this Saturday, October 6 and I'm told its for UP employees only and their families. They will run special, employee/family trains Saturday between Jenks and south of here (I don't know how far) and back and we can view them passing Union Station Saturday morning, October 6.

UP 2002, one of two Olympics units that were painted in 2001, 11 years ago, and still look great. This is in North Little Rock Tuesday, October 2.

UP 1996, the Southern Pacific heritage locomotive, also in North Little Rock.

UP 6938 Centennial locomotive on display in front of UP's Jenks Shops in North Little Rock. It was recently repainted for UP's 150th anniversary celebration on October 6.

Workers were installing a compressor or something so they could blow the locomotive's horn. I got a sound video of this test and you can view it by clicking the link below:

I went back to the Jenks Shops' parking lot at 9:15 p.m. to get some night shots of the 6938. It's lit up on one side only, as least at this time. This was taken hand-held using my Sony Alpha 65 digital camera's high ISO settings.

See the moon above the locomotive.

If you look to the right, under the moon straight down in front of Jenks Shops to the left of the truck, you'll see UP 4141, the Bush unit.
