Here's
a couple of days worth of train photos at the station in Little Rock,
Arkansas, Thursday and Friday, January 22 & 23, 2009. Of
special interest was a string of new TILX hoppers and another of CN
boxcars. Also, two trains on the Amtrak siding.

LEFT-UP 4347 on an engine move, January 22 at 9:24 a.m. RIGHT-UP 4995, 9:29 a.m. Jan 22.
LEFT-UP 4105 at 9:42 a.m. RIGHT-4105 headed a 6-unit train.
LEFT-UP 562. RIGHT-UP 4796 at 10:13 a.m. January 22.
LEFT-NS 7526. RIGHT-UP 6034 on a coal train (empty).

6502. RIGHT-UP 1540 will take the Amtrak siding due to the coal train
having stopped and fouling the switch at 10:42 a.m.
LEFT-UP 1539, a matching pair. These two locomotives run by here almost every day. RIGHT-CN boxcars.

it's Friday, January 23 and another coal train has stopped on Main 2
(second track from left), so CSX 44 is bringing its train north on the
Amtrak siding to get around the coal train. It's 9:14 a.m.

UP 3864 at 10:17 a.m. southbound.
LEFT-UP 8510, the 6th unit. RIGHT-A green and blue Golden West Service hopper.
LEFT-UP 4215, 10:49 a.m. with a BNSF unit in the consist. RIGHT-BNSF 5950.
