A
few night photos at Union Station in Little Rock, Arkansas on Saturday
night, October 3, 2009. A group of rail friends were there with
me. Amtrak's Texas Eagle, northbound #22, arrived while we were there,
plus a few UP freights that were moving.
About a 3 second exposure, at 9:27 p.m.

Passengers
waiting to board the Texas Eagle at 11:02 p.m. on its way north to St
Louis and Chicago. This train has been early or on time for weeks and
is not scheduled to leave until 11:30 p.m.
Amtrak
locomotive 181 and its 7 Superliner coaches, diner, lounge and sleeping
cars, taken from the balcony of Union Station at 11:05 p.m.
Pretty active in the wee hours of the night at Union Station. Makes me want to take a train ride soon.
