Norfolk Southern heritage locomotive NS 8114 made its first appearance in Little Rock, Arkansas on Thursday, August 2, 2012. It was on the MCMNL-01 manifest from Camden, AR to North Little Rock. It passed Union Station/Amtrak station in Little Rock at 10:23 a.m. under dark skies and a light rain. Thanks to my UP friends and others online for the heads up.

NS 8391 led the train.




NS 8114 is in the original NS paint scheme.


The unit had been on the Camden, AR local on August 1, which ran from Camden south to El Dorado, Arkansas in southern Arkansas.
