LEFT-Posing for me....as it happened, I was one of only two photographers there. The other picture-taker was with the group. This was not the full compliment of the Razorback cheering squad. RIGHT-Posing for the other photographer.
RIGHT-Streetcar 410 arriving at 4:56 p.m. heading south.
RIGHT-Boarding. Yes, I did get on with them.
RIGHT-Onboard. A sharp looking bunch.

RIGHT-Looking over the Arkansas River to downtown Little Rock.
RIGHT-'Who is that man taking the picture?' (They knew I was taking them for Central Arkansas Transit for possible use in their 2010 calendar, just as a hobby)
RIGHT-Exiting at the River Market Stop.
River Market Stop. The lush green is the result of being 13 inches above normal in rainfall for the year. Our Summer was also the coolest since 1992.
RIGHT-Walking to the Junction Bridge (former Missouri Pacific RR bridge, later UP, which gave it to the city in 2001). The bridge is now a walking-biking path. There are no tracks remaining.
LEFT-The cheer squad is standing on the old right-of-way. RIGHT-Waiting to go up the elevator on the bridge and walk to the other side for the RazorRock pep-rally, where the Razorback Band was waiting. Any former MoPac people seeing this who ran trains on this bridge? Could you ever imagine seeing the Razorback Cheerleaders standing where your tracks used to be?
LEFT-This line of people was waiting for the free concert of KC and the Sunshine Band, which was to start in another hour. RIGHT-Streetcar 409 passing the new Arkansas Studies Institute, which is in a renovated building owned by the Central Arkansas Library System. The streetcar is on President Clinton Avenue heading east.
