Here
are some photos I took on Friday, March 19, 2010 at Little Rock,
Arkansas of vivid Bradford Pear trees blooming with bright white
blossoms. The trees were across Victory Street from Union Station (the Amtrak station).
It was almost clear with deep blue skies and temperature 72 degrees.
Weather forecasts had a major cold snap forecast for the weekend, with
temperatures falling into the 40s by Sunday with gusty winds and rain,
with the rain becoming mixed with snow Sunday night with lows in the
mid 30s. So, these blooms will be short-lived.
