Easter
Sunday, April 12, 2009 at a dark and stormy Union Station in Little
Rock, Arkansas. I only stayed for one train because it started to rain
buckets and I was in my dress suit, heading for Easter services.
Included: UP 2482.
9:40 a.m.
All red.
Finally a southbound green signal at 9:46 a.m.
9:49 a.m., UP 2482.
Dark,
lonely and foreboding. It was thundering to my right and the
rain was starting to fall. Even the birds were quiet. Oh, and it was
cold, too (49 degrees).
UP 2482, 950 a.m.
The thunder got louder and closer.
Right after this, it began to rain hard. I went to church and a great Easter service.
