A van was illegally parked over the white line next to the streetcar tracks in the River Market District of Little Rock on Halloween night, October 31, 2014. The van was blocking the streetcar so we couldn't move. The van had to be towed away and since I was on the streetcar at the time, here are some photos.

The streetcar driver was wearing a pirate outfit for Halloween. This is the River Market entertainment district in downtown Little Rock on Clinton Avenue.

We had to stop here at 8:03 p.m. for the black van blocking us. You can see the van straight ahead.

See the left front tire over the white line?

Halloween costumes on sidewalk.

Inside the stopped streetcar at 8:13 p.m.

The tow truck arrives at 8:17 p.m. It's to the left of the tracks.

Spectators.

The towing people have the van attached, 8:18 p.m.

Supervisor for the streetcar system tonight.

Almost ready to move. I understand towing charges will be hundreds of dollars.

Towed van on the trailer at 8:23 p.m. They never found the driver while I was there. We are facing east and started moving right after this.
