Little Rock trains Wednesday, January 29, 2014, including UP Olympic 2001 and my usual assortment of freight cars. There was a southbound KCS intermodal today, and for a brief time all 3 of Union Pacific's tracks in front of Union Station were occupied. I included some reporting mark's owners on some of the freight cars since I hadn't seen some of these ID's before.  Plus a few scenes of the former Rock Island tracks in west Little Rock.

Included:
1) UP 7864, 4353, 5894, 8648, 4540, 5128, 6860, 7097, 2001, UPY 141
2) KCS 4623, 4100

The former Rock Island tracks near Rebsamen Road in Little Rock, looking west. It's now used by the Little Rock & Western and BNSF locals.

The LRWN, former Rock Island tracks, go right by the nearly mile-long Big Dam Bridge used for walking and biking. It's hard to catch a train here.

The tracks are just to the left of the trees.

Entry to the bridge.

Wish there'd be a train on the line. When all the trees get green, it's impossible to get a train shot.

The bridge crosses the Arkansas River.

Looking east.

Heading back to Union Station I passed these two boxcars on the LRWN siding in Pulaski.
