Little Rock trains on Sunday, February 6, 2011, a mostly cloudy day with mild temperatures, over 50 at times. Of special interest is BAWX 106, Babcock-Wilcox heavy hauler flatcar  with 16 axles.

Hazy clouds at Union Station with patches of snow still on the ground from a few days ago. More snow was forecast for late tonight.


UP 2074 on a light engine move from Biddle Yard in Little Rock to North Little Rock. It took the Amtrak siding waiting on other trains and stopped here. The Baring Cross bridge liftspan was up for a barge. It's 10:08 a.m.


Northbound Pine Bluff local headed by UP 1551 and 1593 at 10:16 a.m.


Seen here are UP 1554, 1596 and 9356.


UP 4439 was the last in the consist.


UP 2021, one of the two on the Amtrak siding.


UP 5549 on the southbound Pine Bluff local passing UP 2021 at 10:35 a.m.

An eerie glow late in the day as the sun broke through the clouds briefly.
