UP 1991 on a train that was routed over the Amtrak siding at 12:34 p.m.
There was a fine, dry snow falling. Nothing was sticking to the pavement but you could see the snow blowing around.
This train goes off the Amtrak siding to Main 2. The turnout in the center had been blocked by a stopped coal train that was changing crews on 13th Street. The coal trains always stop there for crew changes, especially northbound. With brisk winds and wind chill of 10 degrees, I felt like I was in Montana.
