UP 5069, 6:59 a.m. in the rain. Most of my shots today were taken from the balcony at Union Station because of the rain.
The train on the far track was passing the one on the near track, going the same direction at 7:01 a.m.

As I was leaving for lunch, BNSF 9222 came at 11:10 a.m. with another oil train.
Taken from the parking lot on the west side of Union Station.
The dpu of the oil train was BNSF 7706 at 11:14 a.m.
Skies cleared so I went back to the station and got UP 4861 and 3903 at 1:23 p.m.

From this vantage point you can see UP's Baring Cross bridge. The Arkansas River is navigable from it's mouth on the Mississippi River in southeast Arkansas all the say to Tulsa, Oklahoma and this bridge's lift span rises and lowers several times a day for barge traffic.
