Sunday February 23, 2014 started out sunny and mild but clouded up in the afternoon and cooled down to the 50s. Not too many trains today, one reason being some problems with switches locking in the yard and a couple of trains had to stop and wait until the situation was corrected. Two trains needed to use the Amtrak siding, one being an engine move of 8 locomotives. There was the usual variety of  freight cars, but only 3 roadnames on locomotives today-  UP, KCS and BNSF, and the KCS and BNSF units were on the engine move.

Locomotives today: UP 3783, 5964, 6838, 7226, 4283, 6172 (former SP), 7849, 6394 (former SP), 8025, 1958, 1784, 8455, 8796, 4286, 1697, 7736, 7993 *** KCS 3613, 4783 ***BNSF 7134.
