Some trains today, March 5, 2012, including a KCS train, RSSX 3766 yellow locomotive, and my usual freight cars, including rusty, old ones WITHOUT graffiti (heck, they are the ones that need paint of some kind, preferably a legal painting). There's also a 720i HD movie of a Little Rock & Western local passing Union Station. (My camera takes 1080i HD movies, but even when I upload those to Youtube, viewing them on most computers still can overload bandwidth for most people). Plus a photo of me in a 1973 Cadillac which was used as the 1973 Indianapolis 500 Pace car.

This 1973 Cadillac was in Little Rock today on its way to Los Angeles from Chicago. There were two British guys driving it. It was the official pace car of the 1973 Indianapolis 500 race on May 28, 1973. They told me they would follow the famous Route 66 most of the way (which they can pick up again in Tulsa, I believe).

Yours truly in the car, taken by the drivers.

Thanks to several others who told me what these cars were for also.

Taken from the Amtrak platform in Little Rock, you can see the Arkansas State Capitol to the left in relation to the tracks.

UP 4141, the George Bush Library unit, in back of UP's Jenks Shops in North Little Rock today, March 5.  I was looking for the North Little Rock home chemical disposal site when I looked across the fence and saw the unit.

Cropped and closer. I have no idea what UP will do with this unit.

RSSX 3766 in North Little Rock. Looks like the RSSX lettering was mostly done by hand, and the unit appears to be old and rusty. I couldn't find this unit on the Rail Switching Service Roster list on the RR Picture Archives rite (http://www.rrpicturearchives.net/locolist.aspx?id=RSSX)
