LEFT-Refurbished and repainted UP 1540 and 1539 passes the station at 11:38 a.m. These two workhorses have been together for several years in yard service mostly. RIGHT-UP 6788, 11:46 a.m.

LEFT-See anything unusual? NO graffiti. RIGHT-More 'rare' clean cars.

LEFT-Still more. RIGHT-Still more. Notice this one is old enough to be rusting. How can all these cars not have graffiti? I guess they originate and end at places that don't have the graffiti people around.

DPU UP 7262.

LEFT-UP 7125, 12:10 p.m. RIGHT-Waste.

LEFT-MKT green hopper 586. RIGHT-BKTY gon (could not read number). This has the KATY red trademark in the center, but it's really light. I almost didn't see it. You can still see some red on the end of this car.

LEFT-Cropped MKT-Katy emblem. RIGHT-What lies beyond the sunset?

- - This sunset was taken by me, Ken Ziegenbein, on February 16, 2006 from the Main Street bridge crossing the Arkansas River at Little Rock, Arkansas. The bridge the sun is behind is the Broadway highway bridge with the state capitol of Arkansas just to the left of that bridge.
