Three trains today(Tuesday, May 12,2009) at
Union Station in Little Rock plus a picture of Streetcar 410 at dusk
with a billboard-sized 'Route of the Rockets' Rock Island sign above
the new addition to the Little Rock Public Library (Central Arkansas Library System). Also, I caught the Mammoet-MAMX-42002 caboose in mid-train, a Chessie hi-cube and Ashley, Drew & Northern boxcar HS HS30631. Included today: 1) UP 7114, 2482, 8380
LEFT-UP
7114 on a loaded southbound coal train at 12:14 p.m. RIGHT-UP 2482 on
right passing the dpu of the stopped coal train at 12:31 p.m.
LEFT-Mammoet-MAMX-42002
caboose in the middle of the manifest. RIGHT-Another northbound at the
west end of Union Station at 12:52 p.m.
LEFT-UP 8380 heads the manifest. RIGHT-Chessie sleeping cat hi-cube.
LEFT-Ashley, Drew & Northern boxcar HS30631. RIGHT-Central
Arkansas Transit's Streetcar 410 approaching the River Market stop at
7:53 p.m. May 12. Notice the 'Route of the Rockets' sign above the
library building to the left of the trees. The head of the Central
Arkansas Library System, Bobby Roberts, loves trains.
