Five trains in Brinkley, Arkansas on Saturday, June 12, 2010. This was the day after a large flash flood washed away campers at Camp Albert Pike near Caddo Gap, Arkansas (75 miles west of Little Rock), killing at least 18 men, women and children with dozens still missing as I type this Saturday night. Many of the campers were from Texas and Louisiana.  The flood was on the Little Missouri and Caddo Rivers. The Caddo Valley RailroadAddress: (former Missouri Pacific) still shows tracks on Google Maps through Caddo Gap up to Norman, Arkansas, but I don't think there have been trains through there in years.

Included today:
1) UP 4485, 5524, 6870, 7070, 6554, 8461
2) NS 7514, 9787
3) CSX 4735
4) Rio Grande hopper 25152

Looking north along the Jonesboro Sub. There is a long siding here where trains can stop and let other higher-priority trains pass, as one did today. I now have a 30X optical zoom and was trying it out.
