Amtrak engine 17 leads northbound Texas Eagle 22 at 10:18 p.m., 13 minutes early.

Passengers waiting to board, 11:21 p.m. There are always a line of passengers here even over the midnight hour. There are a couple of large groups coming next week also.

UP 8450. I got these shots using only the lights on the platform, no flash, by setting my sensitivity to 16,000 and shutter speed to 1/160th of a second to stop the action. Of course they have some grain if you enlarge them, but are still useful.

UP 6931, 9580, 5226 lead a very long mixed freight northbound past Union Station at 3:34 p.m. June 20. MFWNL-19, second engine UP 9580 in "Running-Bad ordered" status, third engine UP 5226 in "Dead-Unknown: status. Train had 26 loads, 102 empties-6,095 tons-8305'
