A few train pictures from June 27, 28 and 29, 2014, some taken at night at Little Rock, Arkansas, including flooding rain. At the end of a BNSF oil train on June 29 there were tree limbs on the locomotive and on the buffer hopper car ahead of it. The locomotive had railing and door damage. Also, photos of flooding rain at the station, St Lawrence Railroad Boxcar 101701 built 10-77, and BNSF 888 ex-Santa Fe warbonnet.

The buffer hopper and BNSF dpu of the oil train had  large tree limbs on them when they passed the station at 2:59 a.m.  There were severe storms southwest of Little Rock and this train ran through them. Retiring Amtrak engineer Bill Sanders was standing next to me when the train passed and he called a report into the North Little Rock yard telling them about the limbs so they could check the locomotive for any damage. It turned out that some railing was torn off the locomotive and a door was damaged.

While I don't take photos of much graffiti anymore and know it's illegal to paint graffiti, this was interesting and I thought well done, and the 'crime artist' painted around the built date and car number.
