A derailment north of UP's North Little Rock yards last night (Wednesday night, July 6) caused delays to both Texas Eagles today, July 7.  Northbound 22 was at Union Station in Little Rock and
was turned to become southbound 21 at the station in Little Rock. Southbound 21 was turned at Walnut Ridge, AR to become northbound 22. Passengers were bused between the two trains. This from Richard, one of the Little Rock Amtrak agents. There were also thunderstorms in the area.
