RSSX 7, an SW-1500 locomotive in North Little Rock. From "Power Scout" via Mike Murray at Railspot, from the Shortline/Industrial Rail News, RSSX 7 is an SW1500 built new for the Pittsburgh & Lake Erie in December 1971. It was owned by Eastman Kodak and used at their Kingsport, Tennessee plant until being sold to Railserve when they took that contract over. Rail
Link has since taken over the switching at Kingsport, TN. It was last assigned to Railserve's contract at the former International Paper mill in Franklin, VA. That plant shut down earlier this summer, displacing another SW1500 and a CF7. This unit is now on it's way to RSSX's locomotive shop in Bodie (Longview), TX most likely for repaint & reassignment.
