The Rock Island bridge over the Arkansas River in Little Rock, Arkansas. It belongs to the Clinton Presidential Center and Park and they have finally started work on making it a pedestrian walking bridge. They intend to use ramps to walk up to the drawbridge then down the other side.

View from the walking trail to the Clinton Library, looking east. The River Market is two blocks behind me and Union Station is about a mile and a half behind me on the road to the right, which turns into West Markham Street. I'm standing under Interstate 30, which starts here and ends in west Fort Worth, Texas.

Here's a view of the Rock Island bridge looking north across the bridge, taken on October 4, 2010.

The bridge taken from inside the Clinton Library. I'm looking toward the northwest. Also taken October 4.

The Choctaw Route Rock Island train station, which is also a part of the Clinton Library complex. Taken November 5.

Red leaf backlit by a bright sun.

At Union Station now, 4:35 p.m. November 5. DPU, UP 6591 on an empty coal train, waiting for a crew change on the front locomotive. The intermodal is heading north from the Amtrak siding, passing the coal train.

Trackwork at Union Station.

Late afternoon sun on ties on the Amtrak siding. The intermodal just passed over this track. Even though this part of the track doesn't look too good, a lot of ties have been replaced on this siding.

EC-4 inspection car, 5:54 p.m.

This bird was waiting for me to throw him a cracker, which I did. Taken from my car.
