Going to the annual Holiday House craft show in downtown Little Rock on a streetcar on Saturday, November 16. I parked in North Little Rock at the Trolley Barn and boarded at 7th and Main. There were thousands downtown going to the show so there was not parking anywhere in a few block area of the State House Convention Center.

On the Main Street bridge southbound from North Little Rock, crossing the Arkansas River, the 6th longest river in the nation (1600 miles long). It starts in Colorado.

Just got off at the Old State House Museum, which was having a Civil Warn reenactment. It was 1:27 p.m.

Taken from the Old State House streetcar stop and using my 300mm zoom, you can see Union Station in the distant center. It has the green roof on the tower with a U.S. flag. I'm looking to the west.

Now it's November17, Sunday. As I was arriving in the mid afternoon, this loaded coal train passed with UP 6063 and 5806 leading.

UP 6043, dpu at 3:01 p.m.

Bikers crossing the tracks under the Cantrell Road bridge at 3:02 p.m. The River Trail from downtown ends at the tracks and riders often have to cross the tracks here. They've been talking about building an overpass here for the bikers on the other side of the bridge for years.

A young boy waits for a train. There were two that he saw. His father was there and the boy was very knowledgeable regarding Rock Island, SP and Missouri Pacific freight cars and the train signals.
