BNSF 808117. Christopher Parma from Facebook said " it's an airslide hopper. Airslide Hoppers are used to haul dry commodities that are generally granulated, like sugar, flour, and sand. They're not as common as they used to be since most of the commodities airslide hoppers normally carry are being carried in newer, larger cars now, like general purpose covered hoppers. Sand is generally going in 2 Bay Hoppers now, with flour and sugar going in 3 or 4 Bay Hoppers." And from Doug Hartman: "The car you are referring to(Bnsf808117) is not a box car, but a Airslide hopper. It has a perforated fabric lining that lets them fluidize the bulk material for unloading. Think of flour, cornstarch etc."
