I went to Union Station in Little Rock on the last night of 2013, December 31, 2013 and caught the last train of the year to pass the station, a BNSF oil train. Plus I got one of the first trains of 2014 later that night. Also saw Amtrak's Texas Eagle 22 come into the station 20 minutes early. There was a huge New Years Eve party in one of the banquet rooms in the front-south side of the station (the tracks are on the back-north side).

"Our" railfan parking lot and area was filling up with party-goers at 11 p.m.
