While waiting for Texas Eagle Train 22 to arrive at Dallas Union Station on Easter, April 5, 2015, I caught six freights passing the station between 3:43 and 6:25 p.m. I also have photos of Amtrak Eagle 22's trip back to Little Rock. And DART commuter trains.

Amtrak passengers starting to arrive on platform at 6:25 p.m. Texas Eagle 22 was about 3 hours late due to being stopped behind a stalled UP freight out of Austin, Texas and a defective switch.

Baggage cart. It was starting to rain lightly.

Texas Eagle 22 northbound arrived at 6:27 p.m.

Looking out my Superliner Coach seat at the boarding Dallas passengers at 6:33 p.m. Train left at 6:38 p.m.

Taken at 7:27 p.m. The tags above the seats indicate they are occupied and the coach was almost full. There are 6 other Superliners on this train, including more coaches, sleepers, lounge cars and diner.

The train arrived in Little Rock at 1:52 a.m. Monday, April 6. 2 1/2 hours late, so it made up some time, some because of flexibility in the schedule.

A fine mist was falling at Union Station in Little Rock.

The rest of the city sleeps but it's busy at the station.

Baggage cart was full of checked luggage.

Amtrak locomotive 57 let the train.

Ready to leave at 2:00 a.m.
