Here's a few trains in the late afternoon rain in Little Rock, Arkansas Thursday, April 21, 2011. I had just gone to a wine sampling event (with 140 wines from  vendors from all over the country) and decided to go out in the rain and take train pictures afterwards. No, I didn't swerve off the road at all since I only sampled a tiny amount of wine - I went mainly for the food - LOL).

4) 9 min and 30 second video of long freight - YNL-75. I had to put my hand above the camera to prevent rain from hitting the lens, so you can see my hand in the upper right of the video occasionally.

The very long southbound YNL-75 local that runs from North Little Rock to Pine Bluff, AR, came through at 6:46 p.m.  I decided to take a movie of this train passing and it took 9 minutes and 30 seconds to pass going about 10 mph. That digital movie was 1.5GB in size and it took a long time to send to Youtube.


It was in the cool 50s. See long video below (9 mins and 30 secs)

You can see the headlights from another northbound train reflected off the tank cars of the previous train at 7:06 p.m. (Sun sets here at 7:45 on April 21)
