Here are a few Little Rock streetcar photos taken with a tripod at night, Saturday November 6, 2010 and a couple of trains taken Sunday morning, November 7. Both days were fun days for me. On Sunday afternoon,  I went to the Broadway play Wicked with good friends. It was a great show and had superb effects. This is part of the official traveling Broadway series and had sold out the first 4 days, including Sunday.

Included:
1) Streetcars 408 and 409 at night
2) Ladies from Chicago at streetcar stop
3) Night shot of Capitol Hotel
4) UP 9503, 5932, 6503, 5910
5) Unpatched Cotton Belt 9642
6) UP/SP 6385

Streetcar 408 at the River Market Stop about 830 p.m. November 6. The Rock Island Rocket poster above the building on the left was put up by the Central Arkansas Library System, whose head person likes trains.

Markham and Scott streets.

Streetcar 409 stopping at the Chamber of Commerce stop having just cross the Arkansas River on the Main Street bridge.

408 and 409 together. No. 408 will wait until 409 curves left into the River Market district, then 408 will curve left and pass on the same where 409 is, and then cross the Arkansas River northbound into North Little Rock.

These two ladies said they were from Chicago, waiting for a streetcar at the Peabody stop. The begged me to take their picture and wanted me to show it to them, which I did. They were not fully sober. Having a tripod and camera does get attention.

Left is the Capitol Hotel, the oldest hotel in Little Rock, dating from the time of President Grant, who gave a speech from that balcony in the 1800s. It's been fully renovated and now is a 4-star hotel. The Peabody across the street is also a 4-star hotel, both served by the streetcar system (tracks run in front of the Capitol Hotel).

UP 9503 leads a southbound toward Pine Bluff at 10:12 a.m. November 7.

Unpatched Cotton Belt 9642.

UP/SP 6385 was the last of the 8 engines.

UP 5932, 10:26 a.m. southbound.

UP 6503.

UP 5910, 10:34 a.m.
