Here's a few closeup photos of UP 4141, the George Bush 41 Library locomotive. These were taken February 20, 2012 in North Little Rock, Arkansas. It was rumored by a usually reliable source at our February 19th meeting of the Arkansas Railroad Club that the Bush unit will go back into storage at UP's Jenks Shops. It has made two runs between North Little Rock and Pine Bluff, AR the past 2 weeks on a local and may make another one or two runs on the local before it goes back into storage, but that not certain. The runs to Pine Bluff are to be sure it's road worthy. Why they are putting it in storage again is anybody's guess. Anyway, take this with a hefty grain of salt since rumors regarding the 4141 locomotive have gone 'poof!' many times before. If anyone at UP knows for sure what the destiny is for UP 4141, please let me know (Ken Z - thundertrain@gmail.com)
