Here are 4 videos I made Friday, April 23, 2010 of UP 844. Three are of the train crossing the Baring Cross bridge, one crossing Illinois Bayou west of Russellville, AR. I also took many photos, which are my main interest. I usually put the camera with the video (Panasonic FZ28) on a tripod and take stills with my Lumix G-1. I see that I should have zoomed in a little more on some of these videos (like I did on one), but I can always imagine how trains look on an N-scale layout I guess.

1) UP 844 crossing the Baring Cross bridge over the Arkansas River between Little Rock and North Little Rock, Arkansas, 9:26 a.m. Friday, April 23, 2010. It had just backed across this bridge to switch from UP Main 2 to Main 1 in front of Union Station so it could head to Van Buren, Arkansas on the continuation of the Valley Eagle tour.

2) UP 844 and its' Valley Eagle Heritage train backed across Baring Cross bridge from N Little Rock to Little Rock at 8:48 am Friday, April 23, 2010 so it could switch to the proper track to head to Van Buren, AR. 844 put on a good show and one scene has the whole area shrouded in steam! (someone had a good time in the cab :-). My original Quicktime video on this one is 760 MB in size, but YouTube makes it viewable.

4) UP 844 had just stopped at Russellville, Arkansas before crossing this bridge over Illinois Bayou a couple of miles west of Russellville, 12:26 p.m. April 23, 2010. The Arkansas River is on the other side of the bridge. To the right of the trees is Arkansas Nuclear One, a nuclear power plant. here since the 1970s.
